A presentation on the history of the World War II Era and its impact on world history. WW II was the most violent and devastating war ever fought with nearly 60 million lives lost due to battle, aerial bombing, acts of genocide and the use of atomic bombs. The talk will cover where the war as fought, the phases of the war, relate the key turning points of the conflict, why the war was so devastating and the geo-political costs to the principal winners and losers. It will further relate how the impact of the war shaped the very world we live in today.
